Age Verification Policy – Our 18+ Rule – OmegleSluts
Age Verification Policy
Our 18+ rule — and exactly how we enforce it.
OmegleSluts is for adults only. Period. Every user must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction if higher). This page explains exactly how we check, what we keep, what we don't, and how we comply with the patchwork of age-verification laws now in force around the world.
01 The baseline check (every user)
Every user, regardless of jurisdiction, goes through the same baseline:
- At signup: a checkbox confirming you are 18+ and a date-of-birth field. Both must be filled.
- The DOB cannot be edited later by the user. Anyone trying to enter a future or under-18 DOB is rejected at form submission.
- The IP address country at signup is logged. If it doesn't match the DOB locale's age of majority, we apply the stricter rule.
- Behavioural signals (language use, claimed interests, account behaviour) are monitored. Anything that suggests an under-18 user triggers a manual review.
02 Stricter verification (regulated jurisdictions)
Some jurisdictions now legally require adult platforms to verify age beyond a self- declaration. For users we identify as being in one of these regions, we use a third-party age verification provider before granting full access to the platform.
Where we currently use third-party verification:
List updated as new laws come into force. If you're in a region not listed and think we should be verifying you, email [email protected].
03 How the third-party check works
The verification flow is intentionally designed to minimise the data we ever see:
Redirect
We send you to our independent, certified verification provider. Never on our servers.
Verify with provider
ID upload, face-liveness check, or bank/mobile-network identity — whatever your country supports.
Provider returns a signal
We receive only pass or fail + an opaque re-check token. That's it.
We never see your ID
No name, no full DOB, no biometric data. Provider deletes documents per their own audited policy (~30 days).
04 What we keep
- The pass/fail signal from the verification provider
- The verification provider's opaque token (so we can re-check if needed)
- Date the check happened, jurisdiction at check time
- An audit log entry tying the check to your account ID
That's it. We do not keep your ID document, your photo, your real name (unless you choose to share it), or your full date of birth.
05 What if I refuse to verify?
In jurisdictions where verification is legally required, users who decline will see a banner explaining why we can't grant access without verification, with a link to their country's regulator. We don't ban refusers — we just can't legally serve them the platform.
In jurisdictions where verification is not legally required, refusing the baseline 18+ confirmation at signup means you can't make an account. There is no guest mode without confirming you're an adult.
06 If a minor slips through
No system is perfect. If we discover, or you tell us, that an under-18 user has an account, we:
- Lock the account immediately
- Wipe all associated data within 24 hours
- Block the device fingerprint and IP range against re-registration
- If we believe the user was a target of grooming on the platform, report to NCMEC with all available evidence
- Review what failed in our checks and update them — recorded in our Transparency Report
To report a suspected under-18 user: email [email protected] with as much detail as you can. We act on every credible report.
07 Parents and guardians
If your child has somehow created an account on OmegleSluts, email [email protected] with proof of guardianship (we'll guide you through what we need). We will delete the account and all data immediately, with no questions about how you found out.
Wider resources for preventing access from your devices:
- Family Zone
- Qustodio
- Common Sense Media — guide to parental controls
- Built-in OS controls: Apple Screen Time, Google Family Link, Microsoft Family Safety
08 Our verification provider
We currently use [Verification Provider Name] for jurisdictions that legally require third-party verification. The provider is certified under relevant national schemes (e.g. AVPA in the UK, certified providers list in France). If we change provider, we update this page within 7 days and re-verify users affected by the change.
Note for site owner: replace [Verification Provider Name] with your actual provider — e.g. Yoti, AgeChecked, Veriff, Onfido, ID.me, etc. before publishing.
